Who else is fucking jacked about this game?

The new play-calling/game-planning feature sounds really fucking neat. I also think it's kind of cool that they got rid of the "turbo" feature because it's so true, all anyone ever does is hold turbo the entire game. No turbo will help making cuts and will certainly help the running game.

It's going to have to be one hell of a game to keep my attention once NHL is released, but I will give it a fair chance to win over my heart before September.

I usually enjoy the madden games. I had 07 for PS2 kinda dissapointed, then skipped 08 because I was still broke after buying my PS3. I ended up getting 08 for $30 just before the superbowl. I got 09, and I was very dissapointed. Very impressed with 10, did a few online dynasties, played it for a week non-stop after release. I've found the even numbered games to be better, so i guess i'll be cautiously optimistic for 11. The only reason I got 10 is because I got it for $20, and it will be the same this year. Otherwise I wouldn't buy it.

The commentary sounded pretty bad/choppy in that video, I hope that was just a rough build.

Thats my only complaint is gus sounded very choppy, I'd image it's only rough (at least I hope)

Is it just me or was there no commentary in the demo?

Either way, the game was great and I'm not getting the actual game, only cause I dont like NFL that much to buy the game. I'll end up playing 5 min quarters anyways with the Bills only so not much I'm missing out with on the demo.

I haven't played NFL on ps3 before, any kicking tips cause i could never make a field goal despite me pressing X at the red bar and it says something like 97% accuracy or something.

Its one fall back... Chris. For that reason alone, I wont be picking up this game. He doesnt shut up in real life, and in this game, he can talk for like 2 plays straight on a ball being fumbled. Seriously? STFU already.

I liked it, but I wont be buying it anytime soon.

PS3, just after I made that post (above) I remembered that the demo was out. I fired up the PS3 to d/l it, but I've got an update to install that is apparently taking forever.

I'll let you know once I play it.

I wouldn't put too much stock in it, I would imagine they'll have the bugs worked out for the final release.

I would love to be a part of this but there's no way I'm buying this game. The gameplay is nowhere near NCAA and it's become a lazy game that isn't worth the new release price.

I bought Madden 10 on the first day and played through one season. I played about 15 seasons on Madden 05. The game is crap compared to 2005 and I decided I'm no longer giving them my money until they put some actual effort into the game.
